Over time we have learned a lot from our users, specifically how they use our product and what new features they are looking for in their accounting software.  We have also spent time understanding how others in our industry are managing these very special customer relationships.  In order to stay on top of best practices and offer you the richest in accounting capabilities, we are updating our Terms of Service.

As an example, with the new terms in place, we will be able to offer you deeper analytics and share how your company compares to other firms using QuickBooks Online.  From these insights, we hope you’ll be able to make better decisions about your finances and provide you a richer experience.    User privacy and data security are of paramount importance.  The terms specifically call out that your personal information will never be exposed and that your data will always be aggregated and kept anonymous with other users if we use it in this way.
