Feeding your ideas back to the product development team

Are you interested in making QuickBooks Online a better product?  It’s not that hard to do.  All you have to do is submit feedback.  Tell us what you like about QuickBooks Online.  Tell us what you don’t like about QuickBooks Online.  Tell us what QuickBooks Online could do to make your job easier.

Intuit has a strong culture of focusing on customers and their feedback.  Your feedback doesn’t just go to one or two people, your feedback is made available to everyone in the organization, from VPs right on down to engineers sitting in their cubes coding away.  Heck, I have user feedback taped to my office door.  We use your feedback to help prioritize what we do, to guide our design processes, and to evaluate how well we’ve done.

qbo_feedbackThere are lots of ways to provide feedback to us and we are working on more.  You can add comments on our blog.  When you are logged into QuickBooks Online you can always click the Feedback button in the lower right (see image).  Or you could visit our forums (http://community.intuit.com/categories/contents/291) and connect with other users.

We’ve definitely noticed that people aren’t shy about telling us when we’ve made a mistake, but don’t forget it’s also nice to tell us when we’ve done something right.

About me:  I used to be a software developer on QuickBooks Online, but I’m now an engineering manager. At home I’m either looking after my two daughters or shooting zombies in Left for Dead!

I would like to see that the departments is listed on the check stubs when printing checks. We post our stubs to the invoices to keep an accurate record of which department is debited. This would allow us to use more of our departments in QB Online. Hopefully this feature will come soon.

I would like to see the ability to use purchase orders on QuickBooks Online and more reports/functionality that the desktop version offers.

I would like to see different levels of access for QBOL, so that an employee could enter bills,or receipts, without having the ability to see the entire check register.
If they can see the check register then they can see sensitive information relating to payroll. PayChecks, bonuses,,etc.(We use Intuit Online PayRoll)

Please make this a top priority. Would really help the really small businesses, and especially those that use your Payroll as well.

I have to say, your current product meets our needs. As a not-for-profit, I would much prefer you focus on reducing the cost of your service rather than expanding the features. This would deliver the most value to us.

    Thank you.

Need to be able to print packing slips

Intuit payroll service does not support E-Payment of 943 withheld tax payments. Currently E-Payment only supports 941 & 944 payments. The payroll service supports the annual 943 form and TurboTax has an excellent farm section. Why won’t you support the monthly E-Payment for 943?

I would like to see an iphone/ipad app to use QBOnline in the field. Right now you only support a mobile version.
